First I tried buying the game of their web page and got prompted to log in to my Microsoft account. I put in the password and it states it's going to send me a text to my phone number as an exstra precaution.
Well the code never gets sent so I had to send them a ticket about it. Ironically whats supposed to serve as an extra precaution, is exactly whats preventing me to log in to my account and buy the bloody game.
After buying the game through a third party I finally get the code and the instructions only cover how to redeem the code on www. I do so and get the message: State of Decay 2 is ready for you. This will automatically install on your home Xbox.
If your Xbox is on or is set to Instant-on, automatic updates and purchases are on, and it has enough space, it'll start the download. Its like Microsoft live in their own dam bubble with no contact with the outside world. Its seriously beyond incompetents.
